Dear O-L Clients and Friends,
Within the next few weeks, we will be moving the gallery and frame shop operations to separate, temporary locations in Historic Valley Junction while our new, permanent space is being built out to best suit our needs.
The care and safety of our artist’s work and our staff is our top priority, so it is with a heavy heart that we must leave the home Olson-Larsen Galleries has made over the last 43 years at 203 5th Street. While we have loved this space, the historic building's physical integrity has become increasingly compromised over the last few years, especially with recent rainy spring weather.
The gallery is not closing. We will continue to provide the best in regional artwork and custom framing. For now, the main gallery and all artwork storage will be housed in a sunny, second story space a half block south of our current location on 5th Street. Frame shop production and storage will be at a separate space in Valley Junction.
This move comes with an opportunity for us to get creative with these temporary spaces while exploring pop-up exhibitions throughout the community. We will keep you up to date via email and on social media. Keep visiting our new website as well! Our entire inventory can be viewed and purchased online– not to mention our new Room View feature where you can upload an image of your wall and see any piece in your space virtually.
We have big plans and this blip will not disrupt them! Being a small business means being flexible and our energetic, problem-solving team is always ready to pivot. We are so grateful to have neighbors who helped us find temporary spaces and provided moral support!
Thank you, as always, for your patronage and friendship. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Susan, Mark, Alyss, and Brett
